About Us

Buffalo Children’s Center has served children and families for more than 50 years in Buffalo and Johnson County, providing dependable, high-quality early care in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Buffalo Children’s Center was established on May 29, 1973, when community leaders recognized the need for reliable, high-quality early childcare in Buffalo and Johnson County.

As the community has grown and changed, so has the Center. Over the decades, we have adapted to meet evolving family needs while remaining grounded in our commitment to providing safe, nurturing spaces for children from birth to age six. Today, Buffalo Children’s Center continues to support families, strengthen the local workforce, and serve as a trusted community resource.
